Tag
A web design term. You use HTML to code a web page and HTML is made up of a number of 'tags'. Each tag tells the browser how 'render' the web page i.e the way it looks
For example the tag <br> causes a line break
<hr> produces a horizontal line
<p> is the start of a paragraph.
Some tags are on their own: <br> <hr>
Others need to be closed with an end tag: <p> ..... </p>
