Magnetic storage
Magnetic storage is the retention of data by means of a magnetized medium. The medium contains magnetic domains that are set to be one polarity or another. Each polarity represents a 1 bit or a 0 bit.
For example a standard hard disk works on the basis of using magnetic domains on the surface of each platter inside the device.
