Electronic
'Electrical' goods make use of electricity purely as a source of power, for example a kettle simply boils water using electrical power.
'Electronic' goods on the other hand, uses electrons to process information in some form.
There are a number of basic components that make up nearly all electronics namely: Resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors and integrated circuits including computer chips. These are joined together is all sorts of ways to form 'electronic circuits'.
These circuits can take an input, such as a button press, and then do something useful such as start a timer or play a radio programme etc.
You call the electronic device by its purpose such as 'video recorder', clock DVD player, computer and so on.
