Computer Control
Refers to having a computer as part of a complete control system.
This usually consists of a set of input sensors measuring the state of the system. The data collected by the sensors feed into a computer that is running a control programme. This programme processes the inputs and sends one or more control commands to some output devices (such as actuators).
