Address Bus
An essential part of a central processing unit (CPU)
The purpose of the address bus is to transmit the location of data between the CPU and memory.
For example, when the CPU requires data from memory, the address bus is loaded with its location and then the data is fetched. And it is used the other way to store data into memory.
Physically the address bus is a parallel group of wires \ tracks \ conductors. An 8 bit address bus has eight such tracks or conductors.
