Accuracy

A measure of how close something is to the intended or true value. To be completely correct, accuracy should have some kind of measurement

For example, imagine a machine that has been designed to cut a steel rod into exactly 30mm lengths, but of course nothing is absolutely accurate! The machine may be able to cut steel to a length of 30mm +/- 0.01mm In this case the 'accuracy' is said to be +/- 0.01mm
