Multi-camera sport channels
Some sports channels provide an interactive service where the viewer can choose from a number of camera views during a car race or football game.
Interactive shopping
Viewers can immediately buy the goods they see on a shopping channel by using the interactive service.
Streaming services
Many homes have a reasonably fast broadband link so it is practical to view (stream) films, box sets, etc directly from an internet based service (such as Netflix). If the connection is too slow, then the program will be interupted by 'buffering'. This is seen as a rotating circle on screen whilst the next part of the program is downloading.
