9. Multiple camera views
This is a new feature of digital televsion services and it applies especially to sports events such as live car racing or tennis.
The viewer is able to view the event from a number of camera viewpoints. For example, during a live car race, they may be able to select a drivers view, or a favourite corner view or the main feed.
The impact of multiple camera views on viewers, broadcasters and TV companies:
