Students are shown two examples of newsletters from slide 2 of this ppt. They work in pairs and then in fours to identify the design features.

Then using the other slides on the ppt go through the main design features with the class.

Design a newsletter for Teddy Tots

Students are asked to design a newsletter for Teddy Tots.

They are given a previous newsletter as an example and asked to create a similar design.

They are also provided with the text content for the newsletter and a selection of images.

Design a newsletter for The Dog Rehoming Centre

Students are asked to design a two page newsletter for The Dog Rehoming Centre.

They are given a number of articles containing text and information. They must choose the most appropriate information to include in their newsletter.

They are also provided with a selection of images.
